Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2072737A2] The arrangement (1) has multiple carousel door leaves (2) rotatably supported along central rotating axis (3). A driving device (8) drives the carousel door leaves, and a brake device (16) e.g. drum brake, is provided for braking movement of the carousel door leaves. A control device (15) controls the driving device and the brake device. The brake device has continuous adjustable braking force. The control device is formed such that testing of the brake device is realizable during the rotating movement of the carousel door leaves. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an automatic carousel door arrangement.
