The pump has a cylindrical separation chamber arranged in front of a pump chamber in a flow direction, where fluid to be conveyed flows through the separation chamber. The separation chamber is cylindrically formed in a perpendicular axis. A fluid inlet has a conductive surface and/or a tangential arrangement for forming a fluid cyclone in the separation chamber, where the conductive surface guides the fluid. The separation chamber has an upper central venting opening. The venting opening is surrounded by a pipe, and the separation chamber is connected with the pump chamber by a channel (5).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kreiselpumpe mit einer von der zu fördernden Flüssigkeit durchströmten, in Strömungsrichtung vor der Pumpenkammer angeordneten Separationskammer, wobei die Separationskammer im wesentlichen zylindrisch mit senkrechter Achse ausgebildet ist, wobei zum Bilden eines Flüssigkeitszyklons in der Separationskammer der Flüssigkeitseinlass mindestens eine die Flüssigkeit führende Leitfläche und/oder eine tangentiale Ausrichtung aufweist, und wobei die Separationskammer eine obere mittige Entlüftungsüffnung aufweist.
