[origin: EP2072825A2] The pump has a rotor (7) and a stator (8) are cylindrically formed and concentrically arranged together under retention of an axially running air gap (12) through which coolant flows, where the rotor is designed as an external rotor. A pump wheel (1) is axially fastened to the rotor by adjusting a rotational axis (16) of the rotor, and the rotor is extended into a rotor casing (13). The casing is attached to a pump chamber (3), and the stator is arranged in a stator casing (14). The stator casing is concentrically provided within the rotor casing, and is sealed against the rotor casing.
