[origin: EP2072906A2] The device (1) has a suction unit with a housing, and a suction blower for sucking cooking steam in a cooking site. A sucking panel (3) has a sucking surface that stands in flow connection with the suction unit, and is moved relative to the suction unit from a non-usage position into usage position. The cooking steam flows into the suction panel through the suction surface, and the sucking panel is transferred into a revised position, in the usage position of the panel. The panel has a housing frame (36) and a filter support (33), which are rotated relative to each other.
