The device has a suction unit (7) with a housing (70) that is fixedly mounted at a wall (2) or in an installation opening (20) of the wall. A suction fan (8) is accommodated in the housing for suction of cooking vapors from a cooking place. A suction panel (3) has a suction surface for the cooking vapors. The suction panel is in connection with the suction unit. The suction panel is pivotable relative to the suction unit from a non-usage position to a usage position using a drive device with a motor (11) e.g. linear motor. The panel is connected to the drive device.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugsvorrichtung (1) zum Absaugen von Kochdämpfen von einer Kochstelle, umfassend eine Absaugeinheit (7) mit einem Gehäuse (70), das ortsfest an einer Wand (2) oder in einer Einbauöffnung (20) einer Wand (2) montierbar ist, wobei innerhalb des Gehäuses (70) zumindest ein Sauggebläse (8) zum Ansaugen der Kochdämpfe von der Kochstelle untergebracht ist. Die Dunstabzugsvorrichtung (1) umfasst ein Ansaugpaneel (3), das eine Ansaugfläche für die Kochdämpfe aufweist und mit der Absaugeinheit (7) in Strömungsverbindung steht, wobei das Ansaugpaneel (3) relativ zur Absaugeinheit (7) aus einer Nichtgebrauchsstellung in eine Gebrauchsstellung verschwenkbar ist.
