Abstract (en)
The appliance has an exhaust air guide duct (10) connected downstream of an exhaust fan (4). An air state sensor detects a physical property of an exhaust air in response to an activation of an exhaust air test function. A controller receives a measured air state value from the air state sensor, where the controller determines an exhaust air flow state of an exhaust air guide based upon the measured air state value in response to the activation of the air test function. An exhaust air tumbler dryer (1) is operated after activating the exhaust air duct test function without heating.

Das Hausgerät 1 weist einen Abluftausgang 5 auf, an den ein Abluftführungskanal 10 anschließbar ist, wobei das Hausgerät 1 im Bereich des Abluftausgangs 5 mindestens einen Luftzustandssensor 8 aufweist. Das Hausgerät 1 weist ferner eine Steuereinheit 6 auf, die dazu eingerichtet ist, mindestens einen Luftzustandsmesswert des mindestens einen Luftzustandssensors 8 zu empfangen und abhängig von der Höhe des Luftzustandsmesswerts einen Abluftströmungszustand des Abluftführungskanals 10 zu bestimmen, wobei das Hausgerät 1 eine Abluftkanal-Testfunktion aufweist, bei deren Aktivierung das Hausgerät 1 den mindestens einen Luftzustandsmesswert abgefühlt und mittels der Steuereinheit 6 den Abluftströmungszustand des Abluftführungskanals 10 bestimmt.
