[origin: EP2072930A2] The tub has a heating channel or pipe for heating the tub, and a connecting unit for connecting the tub to medium guides of a heater. A super plastic deformable sheet metal plate (1) is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, where the tub is isolated in its rear side and is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. Another sheet metal plate made of aluminum or aluminum alloy is connected with the rear side of the tub for forming the heating channel or pipe. The plates have a core layer (2) with a magnesium free coated layer (3), and an enamel layer (4) is provided. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a bath or shower tub.
