Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008041925A1] The present invention relates to a cooling arrangement of a vehicle (1) which is powered by a combustion engine (2). The cooling arrangement comprises an air passage (A) adapted to having air flowing through it in a specific direction, and at least three cooling elements (6, 14, 18) each adapted to effecting cooling of a medium. The cooling elements (6, 14, 18) are arranged one after another in the air passage (A) in such a way that at least part of the air which flows through the air passage (A) flows successively through all of the cooling elements (6, 14, 18) and cools the media in the respective cooling elements (6, 14, 18). The cooling elements (6, 14, 18) are arranged one after another in the air passage (A) in a sequence which is related to the temperature of the media in the respective cooling elements (6, 14, 18) in such a way that the air which flows through the cooling elements (6, 14, 18) in the air passage (A) cools a succession of media each of which is at a higher temperature than the one preceding it.
