Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2075877A2] The connector (10) has a contact carrier (11) carrying contacts (16), and a pressing unit i.e. cover (13), made of metal and supported on the contact carrier. A cover bearing unit allows a movement of the pressing unit between a printed circuit board accommodating position and a cover locking position. The pressing unit presses the contacts against a printed circuit board and contact points against the contacts into the cover locking position. The pressing unit comprises a flaring geometry i.e. pressure guide (21), and a cover locking unit (3) locks the cover in a locking position.
