Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1905576A1] The multilayer film includes 3B (triple bubble) film with a maximum shrinkage of 2% at most, preferably 1% at most. The 3B film is coated with at least one further layer, especially in the curtain- coating process or using a slot-nozzle coating method (slot-die coating). The 3B film and/or the further layer is metallized, especially using an aluminum- or stainless steel coating. The 3B- and further layer are coated with ceramic, especially SiO x or Al 2O 3. The 3B film and/or further layer are printed and/or provided with a thermo-protection lacquer. The layers comprise completely bio-degradable polymers. The 3B film is triple-layered as follows. Its innermost layer comprises one or more of: a hot sealed layer containing polyolefin (PO), polyamide (PA), polyester, their copolymers, or ionomers (ION), melt adhesive, especially EVA-based, or a blend of these. The core layer is: polyamide, polyester, polyolefins, their copolymers or a cyclo-olefinic polymer. In addition the following are present: bonding agents for the layers comprising MAH (especially), acrylate or carbonic acids, EVOH, PVOH or aromatic polyamides as barrier layers, self-adhesive or hot adhesion layers of SBS, SIS or SEBS, and an adhesive resin. The outer layer comprises: polyester, polyamide, polyolefins or their copolymers, with adequate thermal resistance and suitability for vacuum coating. The film has one of the following layered constructions: PET/Alu/PET:HV:PE or L/i/V2A.PET:HV:PE. Further variant constructions are claimed, based on the foregoing principles.
