[origin: WO2008046983A2] The invention relates to a powering device (1) including a housing (2) in which is attached a stator (3) that surrounds a rotor (4) connected to a shaft (5) and having a first end portion (5.1) and a second end portion (5.2) connected to the housing by a first bearing (6) and a second bearing (7), respectively, the second end portion extending beyond the second bearing and protruding from the housing, wherein the powering device includes an electronic control module (8) mounted in the housing opposite a portion (5.3) of the shaft extending between the rotor and the second bearing.
