[origin: WO2008043619A1] The invention relates to a cooling fan for a cooling system of the internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, the cooling fan comprising at least one frame (10) for retaining a fan motor and a fan motor (24) for driving a fan wheel (26). The invention is characterized in that at least one motor casing component of the fan motor (24) is injection-molded into the frame material and/or is coated by said material by injection molding when the frame (10) is formed. The invention also relates to a method for producing said cooling fan. The method according to the invention is characterized in that at least one motor casing of the fan motor (24) is injection-molded into the frame material and/or is coated by said material by injection molding when the frame (10) is formed.
