[origin: CA2667074A1] The invention relates to a curved rudder fin and a ship provided with at least one such fin for controlling the ship. According to the invention, the curve of the fin matches the flow of the water in the vicinity of said rudd er fin, which occurs when the rudder fins have no propeller mounted before t hem in the direction of travel of the ship, or when a propellor is mounted b efore, said propellor is not operational but is idling, for example.
