Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008040686A1] The invention relates to a tachograph arrangement (1) for a vehicle, particularly a motor vehicle, comprising an electronic tachograph (2) and a motion detection device (3) electrically connected to the tachograph (2) for the output of a motion signal indicating a motion of the vehicle to the tachograph (2). In order to better protect the tachograph arrangement (1) from manipulation, it is proposed to provide an adapter (5) between the motion detection device (3) and the tachograph (2), wherein the adapter can be read via the tachograph (2) and has an invariable electronic identifier for the signal processing of a motion signal output by the motion detection device (3) into a motion signal that can be processed by the tachograph (2). The invention further relates to a method for incorporating the electronic identifier into the adapter (5).
