Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2078598A2] The method involves conveying glued finger-jointed elongated articles from a floor storage (100) in a press path (81) to a multi-disk press (8) and subsequently to a finish planer (9) or in a bypass path (82) to the multi-disk press and subsequently to the planer by endless conveyors. The press path between the multi-disk press and the finish planer is combined together with the bypass path to a combined finish plane path (84). Movement of the articles is controlled by a shaft during combining the press and bypass paths. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing glued finger-jointed elongated articles including a multi-disk press and a finish planer.
