The element (1) has a guide rail (2) for a glide and encased with the element, which is open at front sides of the element and is held at the guide rail and assembly adapters (3, 4) by a locking connection. Surfaces (6, 6a) and/or edges of the element are provided for limiting sliding movement of the element, and cooperate with surfaces (7, 7a) and/or edges of the guide rail and/or surfaces and/or edges of the assembly adapters. The surface of the guide rail is provided at a distance to the surface of element.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Abdeckelement (1) für eine Gleitschiene, wobei das Abdeckelement (1) gegen seitliches Verschieben in Längsrichtung einer Gleitschiene gesichert ist. Hierbei lehnen sich korrespondierende Flächen (6, 6a, 7, 7a) des Abdeckelementes (1) und der Führungsschiene (2) einander formschlüssig an. Weiterhin bilden korrespondierende Flächen (8, 9) des Abdeckelementes (1) und der Führungsschiene (2) einen Spalt (A), welcher ein Werkzeug zur Demontage des Abdeckelementes (1) von der Führungsschiene (2) aufnimmt.
