[origin: EP2078867A1] The exchanger has a rotor (4) arranged in a cylindrical housing (2) having connecting tubes (12a, 12b, 14a, 14b) for two liquid streams, respectively. The rotor has channels (10) radially extending from a rotation axis (X) of the rotor from an axial end of the rotor to an opposite axial end of the rotor. The rotor is arranged relative to the tubes such that the channels alternately connect the tube (14a) with the tube (14b) and the tube (12b) with the tube (12a) during rotating of the rotor. The rotor is rotationally driven by a drive motor (22), which changes rotational speed of the rotor.
