[origin: WO2008050934A1] A vermin exterminating apparatus for effectively exterminating vermin includes: a light source unit for scanning a light ray with wavelength that physiologically disturbs vermin; and a controller connected with the light source unit and controlling an operation of the light source unit. The light ray of the light source includes a visible ray of at least one of blue and violet color groups. The controller controls the light source unit to be in the turn-off mode in which the light source unit is turned off during a first pre-set time and in a turn-on mode in which the light source unit is repeatedly and instantly turned on and off during a second pre-set time, alternately and repeatedly at night.
