[origin: WO2008043748A1] The invention describes a winding apparatus (1) for winding up a web-like material (2), comprising a winding core (5) on which the web-like material (2) can be wound up to form a material roll, also comprising a web-guiding roller (3) which guides the web-like material (2) before it reaches the winding core or the material roll, or as it reaches the same, and further comprising a pressure-exerting element (6) which presses the web-like material onto the winding core or the roll once it is already resting on the winding core or the roll, it being possible for the pressure-exerting roller to be moved relative to the winding core. The pressure-exerting element (6) is mounted, at both ends, in lever arms (12) which form a pair of levers. These lever arms are mounted in a rotatable manner, and the pressure-exerting roller can therefore be pivoted about the bearing points (13) of the lever arms.
