Stirring device comprises a tubular body (1) with side walls (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4) forming a bend or polygonal progression. Preferred Features: The tubular body has a rectangular cross-section. The side wall (1.3) is planar in relation to the side wall (1.1) and has the shape of a trapezium having parallel side edges forming a side edge of an inlet opening (2) and an outlet opening (3).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Rührorgan eines Rührwerkes zum Mischen und/oder Homogenisieren strömungsfähiger Medien mit einem eine Eintrittsöffnung und eine Austrittsöffnung für ein strömungsfähiges Medium aufweisenden Rohrkörper (1), wobei die Eintrittsöffnung (2) größer als die Austrittsöffnung (3) ist. Erfindungsgemäß umfasst der Rohrkörper (1) vier Seitenwände (1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4), von denen zumindest eine im Längsschnitt einen bogenförmigen oder polygonzugartigen Verlauf aufweist.
