[origin: EP2080855A1] The pool has elongate side parts (1, 2) comprising an edge (7) between a side surface (8) and surfaces (9) of a base surface, along a longitudinal extension of the side parts. The side parts are connected with each other in a joint region of the surfaces (9) adjacent to a free edge or connected with a base element (14) by welding or bond seam (15), where the base element is adjacent to a longitudinal edge. The seam is covered by a cover plate that is made of glass, plastic or stone. A supply line is displaced in a recess, where the pool is made of plastic or metal such as stainless steel.
