The thermally insulated composite profile (1) has two metal profiles (2,4) at a distance from each other, where two insulation webs (3,5) are connected with the metal profiles. An insulating chamber (6) is enclosed between the insulation webs and the metal profiles. An insulating core (10) is received in the insulating chamber for the improvement of the thermal insulation of the insulating chamber. The insulating core has a reinforcement in the shape of rod or belt shaped element received in the interior of the insulating core. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing thermally insulated composite profile.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein wärmegedämmtes Verbundprofil (1), insbesondere für Fassadenkonstruktionen, wie etwa Fenster- oder Türkonstruktionen, wobei das Verbundprofil (1) ein erstes Metallprofil (2) und ein hiervon beabstandetes zweites Metallprofil (4) sowie einen ersten und einen zweiten Isoliersteg (3, 5) aufweist, welche mit dem ersten und dem zweiten Metallprofil (2, 4) derart verbunden sind, dass zwischen den Isolierstegen (3, 5) und den Metallprofilen (2, 4) eine Isolierkammer (6) eingeschlossen wird. Um zu erreichen, dass in einer möglichst flexiblen Art und Weise für eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Isolierkammertypen (6) eine Wärmedämmung erzielt werden kann, weist das wärmegedämmte Verbundprofil (1) zur Verbesserung der Wärmedämmung der Isolierkammer (6) erfindungsgemäß zumindest einen in der Isolierkammer (6) aufgenommenen Isolierkern (10) auf, wobei der Isolierkern (10) unter Vorspannung in der Isolierkammer (6) vorliegt.
