Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2907694A1] Continuous chemical treatment of non-toxic organic wastes optionally in combination with non-toxic mineral wastes, preferably wastes from e.g. agro-food industry, using a combination of two reacting chemical compositions, where the first composition comprises quicklime powder mixed with 10-30% of oxides and peroxides of sodium and potassium powder and the second composition comprises an aqueous solution of urea peroxide/mixture of urea and hydrogen peroxide in the solution, which contains water to conduct the reaction between the various reagents and the waste to leave only urea as residue. Continuous chemical treatment of non-toxic organic wastes optionally in combination with non-toxic mineral wastes, particularly wastes from household etc., agro-food industry, agriculture and sludge residues, using a combination of two reacting chemical compositions, where the first composition comprises quicklime powder mixed with 10-30% of oxides and peroxides of sodium and potassium powder and the second composition comprises an aqueous solution of urea peroxide or a mixture of urea and hydrogen peroxide in aqueous solution having proportions not necessarily stoichiometric but able to provide the same quantity of urea peroxide when used alone. The aqueous solution contains water necessary for conducting reactions properly between the various reagents and the treated waste and at the end of the reaction it leaves only urea as residue.
