[origin: WO2008046914A1] Disclosed is a device for determining particle parameters of a particle flow, comprising a detection and evaluation unit that encompasses one or more cameras (2) and is used for determining particle parameters by digitally evaluating digital image files generated by the camera in a backlighting process. Said device is characterized by an NIR spectrometer which is integrated into the device and is used for determining the material properties of the particles in the particle flow. Alternatively, a color identifying camera operated in a vertical illumination process can be used for determining color data on the particles of the particle flow.
