The freight containers (1) has a housing (3) and an open foil area (11) attached in the area of its upper edge (13) on freight containers (1). Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Frachtcontainer (1), insbesondere ein standardisierter See- bzw. Lastkraftwagencontainer, zur Lagerung und zum Transport von fließfähigen Gütern (21), wobei der Frachtcontainer (1) ein Innenvolumen aufweist und einen geschlossenen, füll- und entleerbaren Folientank (17) enthält, der in vollständig befülltem Zustand das Innenvolumen bis zu einer vorbestimmten maximalen Füllhöhe im Wesentlichen ausfüllt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Frachtcontainer (1) einen oberseitig offenen Foliensack (11) enthält, der im Bereich seiner Oberkante (13) am Frachtcontainer (1) befestigt ist, sodass die Oberkante (13) des Foliensacks (11) oberhalb der vorbestimmten maximalen Füllhöhe liegt und der Foliensack (11) eine Wanne bildet, innerhalb derer der Folientank (17) angeordnet ist.
