[origin: WO2008050212A2] A variable delivery rotary vane pump (10) comprising a hollow pump body (11), a rotor (14), an adjustable stator (13), a central ring (15) and a plurality of swinging vanes (16) hinged at the ends of the rotor (14). The cylindrical head of such vanes (16) always remains in contact with the internal surface of the stator (13) and with the external surface of the central ring (15) during the rotation of the rotor (14).
