[origin: EP2085006A2] The element (1) has an edge-sided grading composed of foam plate parts (2, 3) that are arranged on top of each other or formed from an appropriate integral part. A drain (4) is assigned to a corner region of the element, and a drainage channel (8) is arranged on an edge-side of the drain. A foil-like sealing element (7) is attached to two edge sides of the element, and the drainage channel is provided at one of the edge sides, where the drainage channel is formed as a plastic part. The drainage channel lies on the sealing element by a foam material part.
