Abstract (en)
The method involves bending a raw material (6) i.e. one-piece rolling stock, by attaching a bent section (8) that runs along a rolling direction. The raw material is transformed into width direction of the raw material by section-wise thickness reduction of the raw material. The transformation of the raw material is performed after bending of the raw material or both bending and transformation of the raw material takes place at same time. The raw material is bent gradually from one roller to another roller (36).

Ein Kaltwalzverfahren zur Herstellung eines Profils aus einem einstückigen Walzgut als Ausgangsmaterial (6) mittels der Umformung dienenden Umformbereichen (38) von Walzen (36) umfasst die Verfahrensschritte: - Biegen des Ausgangsmaterials (6) unter Anbringen zumindest eines entlang der Walzrichtung verlaufenden abgebogenen Abschnitts (8), und - Umformen des Ausgangsmaterials (6) in Breitenrichtung des Ausgangsmaterials (6) unter bereichsweiser Dickenreduzierung des Ausgangsmaterials (6).
