Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2085337A1] The device has a comb shaped guide (12) co-operating with a set of selector rollers (16A-16C) to select mailpieces one-by-one and to transport the mailpieces towards downstream. The guide is pivoted about a pivot axis (18) in opposition to resilient return springs (20A, 20B) e.g. compression springs. The guide has a reference plate (12B) co-operated with a magnet (28) that is secured to a framework of the device to prevent pivoting of the guide below a predetermined mailpiece thickness. An elastomer plate (12A) or a ceramic finger is provided on each of teeth of the guide.
