Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2085338A1] The device has comb shaped guides (12, 14) co-operating with opposite selector rollers (16A-16C) to select mailpieces one-by-one and to transport the mailpieces towards downstream. The guide (12) pivots around a rotational axle (18) in opposition to elastic return units i.e. compression springs (20A, 20B). An end of a tooth of the guide (12) is covered with a wear resistant material e.g. ceramic or carbide, forming a selection finger (12A). The guide (14) pivots around another rotational axle, and an elastomer plate (14A) is fixed on each of teeth of the guide (14).
