[origin: EP2085341A2] The device (2) has a transportation strand (6) with a main object stream (Se) for moving articles (4.1-4.n), and divided into two lower strands (12, 14). Two turning units (22, 24) turn the articles around an article axis (18), where each turning unit is arranged in one of two lower strands. A third turning unit (16) is connected upstream to the turning units (22, 24) in movement direction (8) of the articles. The articles movable in the main object stream turns around a predetermined turning angle (alpha).
