[origin: EP2085505A2] The comb (1) has a carrier (2) made of plastic and including a holding section (4) that is connected with a carrier plate (5). A pinstripe and/or a fixing comb fitting (7) are fastened to the holding section. A reinforcement element (11) is attached to the plate. The element extends from a center of the carrier in a direction of both ends of the carrier when viewing a longitudinal direction (L) of the carrier, and exhibits a distance to the ends of the carrier. The element forms a hollow profile including a cross-sectional surface that is reduced in a direction of spikes of the pinstripe.
