[origin: EP2085515A2] The device (100) has a dewatering device (101) with an endless, permeable structured band (4) e.g. spiral linking band, and an endless permeable dewatering band (5) e.g. filter band. Pressure applying units apply a pressure on the bands and between tissue webs (T) in a dewatering section (38). The pressure applying units exhibit mechanical filter pressing units (17) for applying the pressure that locally limits in circumferential direction and for applying pressure in material flow direction of the webs only in an inlet region (22) of the bands in the dewatering section at a suction roll (6).
