[origin: WO2008049529A1] A sealing arrangement for sealing between a first part (12, 14) of a chain and a second part (22, 24), which can be swiveled at least with respect to the first part, has the following features: A sealing ring (40) for sealing off a lubricant area between the parts (12, 14, 22, 24) which can be swiveled towards or against each other with an annular sealing edge (42) which is to be placed on an opposing surface (22) of one of the parts to provide a seal , an elastic ring (60) to be fixed on the other part (14), and the exerting of pressure on the sealing ring with an axially projecting hollow cylinder type of sealing lip (62) which is provided for enclosing the sealing ring in an essentially radial manner in the area of a sealing edge and which likewise is to be placed on the opposing surface (22) to provide a seal on the sealing arrangement when it is assembled as specified, and a supporting ring (50) arranged between the sealing ring (40) and the elastic ring (60); and the link of a chain with the sealing arrangement.
