Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008052372A1] To prevent fusible fibres (13) in a fibrous nonwoven web material (9) from sticking to the conveyor belt (3) during the bonding operation in a bonding oven (1), the surface of the fibrous nonwoven web material (9) is briefly subjected to high heat before and/or after entry of the fibrous nonwoven web material (9) into the heating zone (7) of the bonding oven (1). As a result of the shock-like heating of the surface of the fibrous nonwoven web material (9), the fusible fibres in the fibrous nonwoven web material (9) become retracted and/or curled and sticking to the conveyor belt (3) is avoided.
