Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008068020A3] The invention relates to an installation switchgear (1) with at least one pole current path (2), said switchgear comprising two fixed contact pieces (5, 6) and two mobile contact pieces (8, 9) arranged on a mobile contact bridge (7), forming a pole switch with two contacts and a double break. The contact bridge (7) is acted upon by a pusher (12) in the opening direction (O) and by a contact pressure spring (11) in the closing direction. The two contacts are closed in the connected state, and in the event of a short circuit, the contact bridge is pushed in the opening direction thereof and the pusher is moved into its trigger position in which it acts on the contact bridge in order to open same. Said switchgear is also provided with an electromagnetic tripping device (13), the armature of which releases the latching position of a switch latch (15) in the event of a short-circuit, such that the switch latch maintains the pusher (12) in the trigger position thereof by means of an actuating lever (17) which lags in relation to the pusher (12) and moves from the idle position into the disconnected position thereof. The contact bridge (7) is thereby permanently held open against the force of the contact pressure spring (11). The installation switchgear (1) comprises a control slide (30) mounted in such a way that it can be displaced between a release position and a locking position and, in its locking position, maintains the pusher in the trigger position thereof. The movement of the actuating lever from its idle position into its disconnected position causes the control slide to move from its locking position into its release position such that the pusher (12) is released from the trigger position thereof.
