[origin: EP2088481A2] The device has a dial (1) formed of spiral shaped rings (5, 6) in contrast colors, and a mobile disk superimposed on the dial. The disk is formed of spiral shaped rings in contrast colors, where one of the rings in the disk is made of visible material to allow the dial to be visible. The dial and the disk are arranged such that the rings of the disk are displaced for displaying a unit of time and combined to the rings of the dial for indicating remaining time until complete rotation of the disk, during rotation of the mobile disk based on the unit of time. An independent claim is also included for a time piece comprising a display device.
