[origin: WO2008071608A1] The present invention relates to an extendable lifting tail device for artillery ammunition, characterised in that it comprises a tail (59) with fins (6-9), each fin comprising at least two flat leaves (6A, 6B to 9A, 9B) folded upon firing and protected by a dowel, wherein said fins extend during the flight after the dowel is jettisoned due to the spinning of the ammunition, the leaves being then located in the same plane.
