The hammer (A) has a control body for controlling compressed air path of a compressed annular space for an impact or power stroke and a back stroke of an impact piston (1), and a sound absorber (6) with an air discharge. A valve body (4) and/or the control body are formed as a ring for opening and closing of air intakes (21, 31) for a pressurization of the piston in a cylinder (2) with compressed air in a tubular manner. The air intakes are arranged perpendicular to a movement axis (X) of the piston opposing each other in a direction in the cylinder and in a retaining or holding body (3).

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Presslufthammer (A), insbesondere einen handgeführten Presslufthammer, bestehend aus einem Halte- oder Griffteil, einem steuerbaren Druckluft-Einlassventil, einem Zylinder mit einem Schlagkolben, einem Ventilkörper bzw. Steuerkörper zur Druckluft-Wegsteuerung aus einem Druckringraum für einen Schlag- oder Arbeitshub und einem Rückhub des Kolbens sowie einem Schalldämpfer mit Abluftaustrag. Um eine neue Konzeption eines Presslufthammers mit einfacher, sicherer Flattersteuerung bei vorbildhafter Pressluftführung, geringem Gewicht des Hammers und hoher Wirtschaftlichkeit sowie Servicefreundlichkeit zu schaffen, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dass der Ventilkörper (4) bzw. Steuerkörper zum Öffnen und Schließen der Lufteinlässe (21,31) für eine Beaufschlagung des Kolbens (1) im Zylinder (2) mit Druckluft rohrförmig als Ring ausgebildet ist und die jeweiligen Lufteinlässe (21,31) im Wesentlichen senkrecht zur Bewegungsachse (X) des Kolbens (1) in einer Richtung einander gegenüberliegend im Zylinder (2) und im Halte- bzw. Griffkörper (3) angeordnet sind.
