Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2090514A2] The device (10) has a conveyor band (12) for conveying articles i.e. beverage crate (14), to be labeled. Label feeding devices (22, 24) apply individual labels provided with an adhesive coating to each article to be labeled. A pressing device (30) is designed with two pressure bodies, which are movable in opposite directions to each other. The pressing device is engaged at the label applied on the article to be labeled, and stretches the label by moving-apart the pressure bodies on the article to be labeled. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for labeling articles i.e. beverage crate, with labels provided with an adhesive coating (2) a removal device for removing labels from articles, comprising a rotor (3) a method for removal of labels from articles e.g. beverage crate.
