[origin: EP2090536A1] The device has a rotatable jogwheel (10) connected with a servomotor (2) of an adjustable folding knife (5) and a folding inset of a folding machine (1) by a. computer (7) i.e. industrial-personal computer. Movements of the jogwheel are converted into adjustment movements of the folding knife and the inset by the computer. The jogwheel haptically reports the adjustment movements of the knife and the inset back to an operating person. A monitor (11) represents a virtual image (5a) of the knife and the inset, where the virtual image follows the adjustment movements of the knife and the inset.
