Abstract (en)
The urinal has a basin (10) forming a urinal basin (14) with a drainage opening provided in a base. A mechanical drain trap (20) attached to the opening has a set of flaps balanced by counterweight, where one of the flaps is designed as dish-shaped and the other flap is designed as flat plate. The latter flap is arranged around a horizontal axle, tiltable at a diagonally sectioned lower end of an outlet connection. The axle and the counterweight are provided in a higher end of one of the flaps. The counterweight causes an automatic closing of the flap when urine drains off.

Urinal mit einer Schale (10), die ein Urinalbecken (12) bildet, das in seinem Boden eine Auslauföffnung (26) aufweist, und mit einem an die Auslauföffnung (26) angeschlossenen mechanischen Geruchverschluß (20), wobei der Geruchverschluß (20) eine durch ein Gegengewicht (42) ausbalancierte Klappe (38: 46) aufweist.
