Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2090729A2] A door lock system includes: a door that opens and closes a door opening portion formed in a vehicle body; a plurality of lock portions, each of which holds the door at a closing position by meshing a latch supported on the door with a striker fixed to an edge portion of the door opening portion; and latch drive means for switching each latch from a half-latching state to a full-latching state with respect to each striker opposing to each latch. The latch of at least one of the lock portions which is a first lock portion provided at one side is switched from the half-latching state to the full-latching state by displacing and swinging a swing operation member driven by a motor of the latch drive means in one direction, and the latch of one of the lock portions which is a second lock portion provided at the other side is switched from the half-latching state to the full-latching state by displacing and swinging the swing operation member in an opposite direction.
