Abstract (en)
The system has a main branch traversing an oil basin (1) used for containing lubricating oil (2) and an internal combustion engine. A volumetric oil pump (3) assures oil circulation. A return branch is arranged between an upstream part (5) and a downstream part (6) of the pump. The return branch is equipped with a pressure relief valve (4) for maintaining oil pressure at a set point value. An unballasting device (7) unballasts the relief valve, and adjusts the oil quantity regulated by the relief valve based on the viscosity of the oil.
