[origin: WO2008074385A1] In the case of a hinge for doors, windows and the like, with a supporting bearing (25) which is arranged between the wing hinge part (1) and the frame hinge part (9), introduces supporting forces from the wing hinge part (1) into the frame hinge part (9) and comprises a ball socket (26) and a ball disc (27), the ball socket (26) and the ball disc (27) are in form-fitting engagement with each other in such a manner that a rotation of the same relative to each other about the hinge axis (S) is possible, but it is not possible for them, or is possible only by an elastic force being overcome, to be shifted relative to each other in the direction of the hinge axis (S), this being ensured by the ball socket and the ball disc lying one above the other in an angular region which extends to slightly on the far side of the ball equator, and the elasticity of the material, from which the ball socket and/or ball disc is/are produced, and the region over which the ball socket reaches beyond the equator, are selected in such a manner that an insertion of the ball disc can take place with elastic deformation of that edge of the ball socket which protrudes over the plane of the equator.
