Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2008058931A2] The invention relates to a burner ring (1) for a gas burner (9), comprising a distribution chamber (7) with gas outlets (5) facing towards the outer circumference (4) of the burner ring (1), a transfer ignition groove (2) that is open to the exterior on one side and runs between the inner circumference (3) of the burner ring (1) and the outer circumference (4) of the burner ring (1), a gas conduction channel (6), into which the transfer ignition groove (2) at least partially opens and at least one gas supply opening (8) between the distribution chamber (7) and the gas conduction channel (6). The gas conduction channel (6) and the transfer ignition groove (2) are arranged symmetrically in relation to one another on the burner ring (1) and the gas conduction channel (8) is offset at an angle in relation to the transfer ignition groove (2) in the vicinity of the gas conduction channel (6). The invention also relates to a gas burner (9) comprising a burner ring (1) of this type, wherein the burner ring (1) in particular surrounds an inner region (10) of the gas burner (9) and the gas outlets (5) on the outer circumference (4) produce the principal flame.
