Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2907600A1] The coupler has a conducting rod (5) projecting from a wave guide (1) and extending between a short circuit (3) of a wave guide (1) and conducting structure (6) acting as a radiant dipole with wavelength of lambda/ 2 exited at central point of the dipole by the rod. The structure has C or U shaped blades (7) extending symmetrically on both sides of a symmetrical plane of the wave guide. Each blade has a branch (8) integrated to the waveguide and extends above the top of the rod. An independent claim is also included for a method for coaxial coupling of wide or average ortho-mode junction band of a wave guide.
