[origin: EP2093048A1] The device has shaping devices (1,2,4,5) transforming a material web (3) e.g. single sided corrugated cardboard, into an angulated edge protection material. Supply devices (10,11)) supply the web in a running direction and/or supply direction (x) of the shaping device. The supply devices comprise a roller pair or shaping pair (5), and rotation axes of the pairs are arranged in parallel. The roller pair or shaping pair is arranged such that the web is fed between the rollers and/or shapers of the roller pair or shaping pair during feeding of the web in the direction (x).
