[origin: WO2008010247A1] The invention relates to a method and a machine for applying supporting and protective elements (2; 2A; 2B; 2C; 2D) from a continuous adhesive film (5; 5A; 5B; 5C) to panels (17; 17A; 17B; 17C; 17D) of prearranged mosaic tesserae, said machine comprising a central applying or removal/peeling unit (3) with at least one distribution element (7), adjustable and having a tail end (9) downstream of the feed path of said continuous film (5; 5A; 5B; 5C) for peeling of said continuous film (5; 5A; 5B; 5C); the invention also relates to a relative continuous adhesive film (5; 5A; 5B; 5C) and a relative finished product.
