The extractor hood device (1) has an extractor hood housing (10), where a vapor shield (11) is arranged at the lower area of the extractor hood housing. The vapor shield protrudes over a front side (101) and a rear side (102) of the extractor hood housing. The vapor shield has a middle section (112), a front pivotable segment (114) and a rear pivotable segment (115).

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dunstabzugsvorrichtung (1) mit einem Dunstabzugsgehäuse (10) und einem am unteren Bereich des Dunstabzugsgehäuses (10) angeordneten Wrasenschirm (11), der zumindest über die Vorderseite (101) und Rückseite (102) des Dunstabzugsgehäuses (10) hinausragt. Die Dunstabzugsvorrichtung (10) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Wrasenschirm (11) ein Mittelteil (112) sowie zumindest ein vorderes schwenkbares Segment (114) und zumindest ein hinteres schwenkbares Segment (115) aufweist.
